 Preventative Health Care

Exam Rooms

We strongly recommend annual and biannual wellness exams and vaccinations, as needed, to keep your pet in the best health possible.

Surgery & Surgery Prep

We offer state of the art care for your pet during surgery. Including the best anesthesia, and staff monitoring the pet until he or she completely recovers in the most sanitary facilities you can find.

Dr. Hokett performs a number of surgeries daily, ranging from spays and neuters, declawing, to exploratory surgeries and many more.

 Radiology

Our modern digital radiology equipment offers the highest quality x-rays. After an x-ray is taken, it is uploaded onto the patients file and is able to be seen on any computer throughout the clinic or sent directly to a specialist if needed.

Dentistry

Healthy teeth and gums are very important to a healthy and long life for your pet. We scale the pet's teeth to remove tartar build up, then polish the teeth to prevent further plaque accumulation. Extractions, periodontal flaps, etc, are performed as needed.

Ultasonography

Ultrasound is fundamental to the practice of modern small animal medicine. We routinely scan bladders for stones and can do abdominal and cardiac studies as needed.

Boarding

In our boarding facility we have 3 different size runs, and several different size stainless steel cages. There is always members of the kennel staff on hand to make sure the pets have water, plenty of attention, and get to go outside at least three times a day. In each run/cage is water available at all times, blankets, and toys. We feed the animals that are boarding two times a day, unless requested otherwise by the owner. If applicable we make sure your pet has their medicine on time. We offer extra playtime with our kennel staff, and you are welcome to leave beds, toys, leashes and collars, as well as the pets normal food. Before the pets go home we can bathe, trim toe nails, or we can schedule a professional grooming appointment, so your pet will be cleaned up ready to go home.

Grooming

We offer professional grooming as well as a basic staff bath. When you drop off your pet for a scheduled grooming appointment, you can give specific instructions to how you want your pet groomed. When your pet is here for either a professional groom or just a bath he or she will also get their toe nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and any other services that you request. While your pet is here to be groomed, Dr. Hokett will do a courtesy exam to make sure your pet is in the best health possible.
